Did you think I was fucking around back in March when I told you potions was going to change the game? I don't fuck around!

Hunter Braymer lives and matriculates in Santa Cruz, California. In fact, his latest album is named after his old stomping grounds due east of the Cruz on La Selva Beach in the Monterey Bay. Selva's Beach is even more of a game-changing record than his last one, III, which I recall saying was brilliant. This one's even better, folks.

Check out "Homeostasis" from the new one. It sounds like Thriftworks and G Jones had a baby, don't it? It's grimy, it's unbalanced, it's ferocious, but it's got these smooth R&B hints in there. Braymer said about the new album that "it shows a broad range of influence ranging from lofi bass music and dubstep all the way to jazz and reggae." You can hear it in there. All mixed up and glitched out and ready to rumble.

This self-released potions album is slated to drop on September 27th. I can't speak highly enough about it, but you're just going to have to hold your horses until the end of the month to get your hands on these 8 hot tracks. I'm going to look like a damn genius when this thing hits.
