NY boxing event Friday Night Throwdown invades SXSW

For the first time ever, NYC staple Friday Night Throwdown, a unique event combing boxing, dance, circus performers, and live music will step outside the Big Apple for a huge SXSW showcase on Thursday, March 13th at 7:30pm at the South Austin Gym (5700 Manchaca Rd Austin, TX 78745).
Boxing fans will get to enjoy six NY vs Texas-themed matches, set against a backdrop of aerliests and left field performers. The resident DJ for the evening is Mess Kid, whose Rinse France all vinyl mix you can hear below. Other acts include Untz-faves Jacuzzi and Skrause, there are also some super secret surprise guests on the bill, and the guestlist is looking pretty high-class.
