Each Deep, Dark & Dangerous release is gonna slip into my regular rotation without fail, because TRUTH's Tristan Roake and Andre Fernandez are extremely selective about which artists and more importantly which tracks make their way onto their label.

But some releases are even more special, because they tell a story with each and every wub. Kwizma's Monster EP, which is out May 6 on DDD, is four power-packed tracks that are so eerie, so juicy, so goddamn filthy that I am shocked by each subsequent track.

Today I premiere the title cut, “Monster,” but it's hard to pick a favorite amongst these truly gorgeous low-end tunes, ranging between minimal and driving. The atmospherics and the attention to detail got me going nuts. Christian Engelen is one third of Nōtan with Kelly Dean and Leon Switch, but this collection of tunes will elevate his solo brand for all of DDD's rabid fans.
