The IMPULSE Music Series returns with Charles Weinert, a.k.a. Sir CharLes. This young producer from Jacksonville has been evolving rapidly from his bombastic dubstep of a year or so ago to the more refined bass music that marks his sound today, primarily under the tutelage of fellow Madero Group artist Eliot Lipp and his Old Tacoma label. It comes as no surprise that a kid from the south would take a swing at Driicky Graham's "Snapbacks and Tattoos," melding trap with metal in the back half of the cut, with an angry bassline that supports wicked claps. Sir CharLes will be joining Lipp at IMPULSE Music & Arts Festival, June 15-17 along with headliners Archnemesis, EOTO, Papadosio, BoomBox, The Polish Ambassador, Ana Sia, NastyNasty, Minnesota, VibeSquaD, Spankalicious, Zoogma, Emancipator, and many, many more in Union Point, GA.
