It was the determination and sheer rabid energy of our fan base that lifted DIGITAL ETHOS onto The Untz Festival lineup in 2017. Their enthusiasm for Charlie Quigley rubbed off on us and we got caught up in the excitement, and ever since he's been a favorite for us.

Quigley's hard-hitting, straight-down-the-pipe experimental bass is a perfect foil for his partner in crime Chee., who along with DIGITAL ETHOS debuts their joint project CHEETHOS on the west coast this October as they both return to our festival after a multi-year absence.

Both acts launched new tunes last week, and we're equally excited about both. While Chee.'s Quarter Inch EP is out this Friday, DIGITAL ETHOS shares “Pulsar,” a thundering tune that really gets us in the gut. As I mentioned earlier, Quigley's straightforward sound is complementary to the expansive sound of his South African counterpart, and together these two will mesmerize us with their bass brilliance, and we get their unfettered visions during their solo sets, as well.
