Dead Battery: Forget Me EP

We've been keeping a watchful eye over Austrian prodigy Tobias Huber. Ever since his scintillating remix of Dabin's "Awakening" shattered perceptions about Dead Battery, we've been anticipating this release from Kannibalen Records. The title track of this Forget Me EP is a monster, big room electro anthem with a dynamic dubstep breakdown. And "Fuck That" just takes out the trash. Intense, but not overbearingly Cro Magnon, this bass masterpiece is pure melodic fun with some Daft Punkian elements. And the remixes are equally enticing, with a trap take from Flechette and smoother hip-hop take from Koda. Quite remarkable work from Huber. The industry has taken notice, too.
