We've been singing the praises of Kyle Partin ever since we caught wind of “Snicka,” that sneaky ass tune that snuck into our hearts and spawned a million remixes. Now we have the pleasure of premiering a hot new track from the new Cut Rugs EP that just happens to be called New. Dropping September 4th on The Rust Music, the 3-track collection has some serious edgy vibes, which is exactly what we've come to expect from Partin.

“Bite This” is the opening Salvo from the trio of tunes. It's got a real thick hip-hop beat that threw us for a loop, and got us lost in the groove. Damn it's groovy. And there are plenty of little bass flavors in there to keep even the grimiest fan interested. The mastering work by Seppa really seeps through and fills out the song. We encourage everyone to grab a hold of this one on Tuesday and don't let go.

Cut Rugs will be joining Hullabalo0 and Kirby Bright at Bassment Charlotte in North Carolina on September 8, then he's out at the BlissFall Block Party in Fort Collins, Colorado on September 21.
