For a while now, Chicago-based producer and performer Matthew Richert has been working behind the scenes: collaborating with hit-making producers on backing tracks, DJ'ing elite industry parties, and providing music for film and TV projects like Don Jon and The Mindy Project. Now, TREH is breaking out on the back of his own brand of banging tunes.

Following up a massive Jack U mash-up, TREH is back with "Planet X," a storming stomper of a cut fusing pounding electro-house with classy and contemporary production methods. Throw some witty lyrics in there, and Richert's sitting on a hit. While he continues to grind out his industry jobs, we're going to be keeping our eyes on the Windy City's next big prize.
