DJ duo Blunt Instrument from Down Under is making their Simplify debut tomorrow.  The Twice Baked EP will be coming tomorrow on Addictech, and will be available everywhere on Valentine's Day (looking for a nasty set of glitch hop for that special someone?).

Twice Baked features some truly funky hooks.  Blending some of the West Coast glitch hop style with a rollicking, happy-go-lucky vibe, Blunt Instrument has really captured a fun and bouncy vibe with forays into ultra-wobble and dancehall.  The first single Turtle Slap will slap a shit-eatin' grin on your face, no doubt, especially with a left-field vocal break from Korn's Freak on a Leash.  Just silly!

Of course, Simplify Recordings has to go big with each release.  Label head Aaron Simpson is throwing in a free tune-pack for download which includes Turtle Slap and 6 out there remixes.  A couple of reggae classics are paired up with a couple of oddballs in Radiohead and the Rolling Stones--bet you'll hear them at the club this weekend.
