Almost exactly a month ago, we introduced the world to Austin’s Fault (née Austin Kane) by releasing his alluring remix of London Grammar as an exclusive download. The burgeoning producer left us so awestruck with his take on “Strong,” we figured it would only be fair to premiere his first original track too. So, that’s exactly what we did. He sent over “Astral Tip” and we basically fainted with excitement.
The first single from his upcoming EP sees Kane digging further into a hip-hop inspired sound, injecting an unrelenting mixture of ominous vocal samples and electrifying synthesizers into any listener’s bloodstream. Complete with classic lyrics from “Still Tippin” by Mike Jones, we witness that laid back and hazy feel you might experience while listening to syrup sipping Texas rappers. Your head starts to bob.
